TelegraTalk Support
Answers to common questions. Still stuck? We're happy to help directly.
How do I sign in?
The same way as the official Telegram app: enter your phone number, then the login code Telegram sends you, and your two-step password if you have one set. TelegraTalk connects straight to Telegram's servers — there's no separate account to create.
Why does TelegraTalk ask for microphone and speech recognition access?
Those permissions are how TelegraTalk turns your spoken replies into text. Without them, the app has no way to capture what you say. See our Privacy Policy for exactly how that audio is handled.
The headset button isn't doing anything.
TelegraTalk listens for a single click of your headset's play/pause button (wired EarPods, AirPods, or most Bluetooth headsets). A long press is reserved by iOS for Siri and isn't available to third-party apps. If you're not wearing headphones, the on-screen mic button does the same thing.
Does it work in the iOS Simulator?
No — speech recognition needs a real microphone and the headset control needs real hardware, so TelegraTalk requires a physical iOS device.
What is Pocket Mode?
Pocket Mode dims the screen and disables the on-screen buttons so the phone can go in your pocket safely mid-conversation. Your headset's play/pause button keeps working exactly as before; slide to unlock when you're done.
Can I change the language TelegraTalk listens in?
Yes — tap the language button on the conversation screen to pick a recognition language for that chat, independent of your device's system language.
