Why TelegraTalk is rated 18+

TelegraTalk is rated 18+ on the App Store. This reflects the platform it connects to, not content TelegraTalk itself creates: it is a voice-controlled client for the real Telegram network (via TDLib), giving full access to whatever chats, groups, and channels the signed-in account can already reach on Telegram.

What this means in practice

Telegram is an open, largely unmoderated network, so a user could encounter profanity, references to alcohol, tobacco, or drugs, weapons, suggestive or sexual content, or violent content through it — the same reason Telegram's own official app carries a comparable rating. TelegraTalk adds no chat discovery, public content browsing, or in-app purchases of its own; it only reads aloud and sends messages for the chats the user is already a part of.

No additional moderation or controls

TelegraTalk has no content moderation, filtering, or parental controls of its own beyond what the signed-in Telegram account is already subject to on Telegram itself.
